TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all of our workshops, training courses, seminars, dinners, and other mixed formats. We use the word ‘happening’ to describe all of these.
Invoicing and payment
Invoices will be issued within 14 days of a purchase order being received. Payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date. In order to receive the early bird discount, payment must be received by the Institute within 30 days of the invoice date. Payment will be made via our merchant account provider (and you consent to us passing your necessary details to the merchant account provider and to them processing necessary information about you) or directly to our bank account, as notified to you. We reserve the right to run price promotions as we think fit.
Canceling and transferring a face-face happening
Cancel or transfer more than eight days before the happening: 0% fee applies
Cancel or transfer less than eight days before the happening 20% fee applies
Cancel or transfer less than four days before the happening: 100% fee applies
No refunds will be given for non-attendance.
Canceling and transferring an online training course
You can cancel your online training course up to 10 working days from the purchase date and receive a full refund provided the online training course has not been accessed. After the 10 working days, if the online training course has been accessed you will not be entitled to any refund. You will not be able to transfer your online training course to another person or onto another online training course.

We reserve the right to alter published programs, speakers and venues without prior notice. If the event has to be canceled altogether, I will notify you at least 5 working days in advance of the event. Our liability is limited to a full refund of the event fee only.
No compensation will be paid for any other costs incurred by the delegate, such as travel or accommodation.
I accept no liability if an event is canceled or postponed for reasons beyond my reasonable control.
Transferring your place to someone else
If you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place provided that person meets the entry requirements of the course. Please notify us in advance so that we can update our delegate list. If the replacement delegate is not entitled to attend at the same price then the difference in fees must be paid.
I do not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information or views expressed by speakers. Delegates should take specific advice when dealing with specific situations. Opinions expressed are those of individual speakers and not necessarily mine.
The Intellectual Property Rights in the events are owned by, and shall remain vested in, me and/or the appointed training provider(s).
If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Workshop, you will be required to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payment.
You must comply at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop (in which case no refund will be provided). You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Workshop.
You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.
You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the Workshop by you.
Any user of the website has to be 18 years of age or older and agrees to be entirely financially responsible for all charges and other fees arising from use of the website.
Consent of use
Attendance at any happening promoted on this Website constitutes an agreement that attendee name, title, business address, and any photographs, video, audio, or other visual or audio reproduction obtained during the event can be used for promotion and recruitment, including Internet and website use. AWC is released from any liability connected with the use of event images or voices.
Loss of possession at a happening
I cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.
I do not accept liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers stay or travelling to and from a happening.
In the spirit of good practise, when you are purchasing 1:1 sessions from me I ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to each statement below and that you wish to proceed.
All services and communication, email or otherwise, delivered by myself, Erika Büttner, as well as information on this website (erikaminou.com) are meant to help you find answers to your questions on your own. The 1:1 Session is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care. I am not giving you answers or consultancy - I am merely helping you to find the right questions and answers on your own
You as a customer understand that the services you will be receiving from me are not offered as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, professional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. You also understand that I am not acting as a mental health counselor or a medical professional.
You understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your well-being during my sessions, and subsequently, including your choices and decisions.
You understand that results are not guaranteed.
You hereby release, waive, acquit and forever discharge me (Erika Büttner), any agents, successors, assigns, personal representatives, executors, heirs and employees from every claim, suit action, demand or right to compensation for damages you may claim to have or that you may have arising out of acts or omissions by yourself or by me as a result of the advice given by me or otherwise resulting from the relationship contemplated by this agreement.
Personal information supplied by clients in sessions will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, save where required by law or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the client or someone else.
In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or unavailability due to bereavement or other commitments, inappropriate behaviour by the client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, I can decide to terminate the service to the client early or refuse or be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the client. In such a circumstance the client will be given reasonable notice of termination by me where practicable and will be refunded any advance payments made for sessions not yet provided.

The contracting parties declare that all information contained herein is accurate
and made in good conscience. They shall be mutually obligated to immediately inform the
other party of any changes.
Modifications of and amendments to this Contract or these General Terms and
Conditions shall be made in writing. This shall also apply to a waiver of this requirement in
This Contract is governed by the substantive law of the Republic of Austria
excluding the conflict-of-law rules of international private law. Place of fulfillment is the
registered business establishment of the Agent (Management Consultant). Jurisdiction in
all disputes is the court in the place where the Agent (Management Consultant) is based.
